“Uncover the Wonders of Glacier National Park’s ‘Crown of the Continent'”

Glacier National Park got its name from the remnants of glaciers that existed during the ice age. It is situated on the border between Canada and Montana.

Many people refer to it as the “jewel of the continent” due to its stunning display of natural wonders.

A national park called Glacier National Park can be found in the northern part of Montana, which borders with Canada.

Just beyond the border lies the magnificent Waterston Lakes National Park. When combined with its neighbor, Glacier National Park, they form the incredible Waterston-Glacier International Peace Park – the world’s very first international peace park.

Back in 1910, Glacier officially became a national park. Fast forward to 2022, and it’s now the 9th most popular park in the US, making it one of the top choices for visitors.

Glacier National Park contains multiple regions. The Going-to-the-Sun Road is a prominent section that passes through the center of the park and is the busiest area frequented by visitors.

Located towards the north lies the breathtaking Many Glacier, known for its abundance of wildlife and spectacular hiking trails which are considered amongst the best in the park.

The park is accessible all year round, but Go-to-the-Sun Road, which is the main road through the park, is only open during the summer months. This typically runs from late June or early July until mid-October.

Glacier National Park is recognized as both a UNESCO World Heritage Site and a UNESCO Biosphere Reserve.
